Welcome to my blog.
I have been a member of the higher education community since 1995 and this blog is dedicated to that experience and my work in higher education. I am currently the Executive Director of the Florida Consortium of Metropolitan Research Universities, which is located on the campus of the University of Central Florida. This blog will explore higher education in all of its incarnations from student success and access to popular culture. In addition I will be posting on some of my personal interests. I love music, sports, politics, television, and personal development. I will likely write about all of these things. I am excited about the possibilities this site contains.
